Frequently asked Questions
Do you health test your breeding cats?
Yes!! We DNA health test all of our breeding cats as well as scan (echocardiogram) them for HCM.
How do I apply?
To be approved for one of our beloved kittens, please fill out an application and once approved you may choose to be on a waiting list. We have a priority waitlist and a standard waitlist.
Do you vet the kittens?
Yes!! All kittens will have two wellness visits from a licensed veterinarian. They will also have a negative fecal test, negative FeLv/FIV/HW test prior to going home. They will also come with a health certificate from the vet, clearing them to travel to their new home.
Do you offer a discount for adopting more than one kitten?
Absolutely! If you adopt two kittens at the same time, you will receive a $300 discount on second kitten. For repeat customers, you will receive a $200 discount on the second kitten that you purchase at a later date.
What comes with the kitten?
We vaccinate our kittens at 8 weeks and 11 weeks of age. Our kittens stay in the cattery until 12 weeks of age. This is to ensure that their little immune systems are strong enough to travel to their new homes and adjust to their new environment well. They will also receive a health certificate from a licensed veterinarian, a small bag of food so that you can properly transition them to the food of your choice, a toy, a copy of parents DNA health results and a copy of parents Pedigrees, a 30 days of complimentary health insurance through Trupanion, and a 1-year health guarantee for congenital and genetic defects.
Do you offer breeding rights?
We do offer breeding rights to qualifying candidates. Breeding rights will only be granted to established catteries that are registered with a recognized cat association; we will require proof of registration along with references.
What is the priority wait list?
Our priority wait list is a wait list designed to allow you to have first pick of the litter. To be put on the priority list, you fill out an application and once approved, you will pay $100 and when received, you are put on the list. Once on the priority list, we will go down the list and allow you to have your choice kitten.
Refunds?
The $100 priority wait list fee is refundable if you have not found your perfect friend within 2 litters.
The reservation fee of $500 is non-refundable for any reason other than the breeder (myself) is unable to provide you with the kitten reserved.
What are your operating hours?
We are open from 9 am – 9 pm Monday through Friday, 9 am – 12 pm Saturday. We’re closed on Sunday. Holiday hours may vary, so please call or check our website for specific information on those dates.
